Abstract. Rail transport regulation in the United States. The paper analyses the rail transport regulation in the United States, with a specific focus on the regulation of this sector and its relationship with antitrust remedies. Taking into account the U.S. experience, the work aims at identifying possible useful indications to the evolution and improvement of both domestic and EU rail transport regulation.
